Designer Casapinka has been a HUGE supporter of local yarn stores (LYS's) for a long time, but even more so during this pandemic. And she's done it again.
From the designer: June 4 is National Hug Your Cat Day. As most of you already know, Sharon From Security (pictured below, but she's not the freaking boss, she just went crazy with the label maker) does not like to follow rules and she makes stuff up ALL THE TIME. In that spirit, she unilaterally overruled Hallmark and declared June 5-7 International Hug Your Pet Weekend (so she can make fun of dogs.) She then decided that my latest design (a shawl called Hug Shot - get it?) should be free to those who buy yarn from participating LYS's and Dyers to make it, similar to last month's LYS promotion. The specs are all the same as "Breathe and Hope"; it's just a totally different design.
"Hug Shot" is a two-color knit shawl, normally a pay-for pattern, FREE for you to download from Ravelry ONLY during the period of June 5-14, when you purchase the yarn to make it. How it works: once you purchase your kit, you'll receive an email from us with a unique coupon code that will discount your pattern down to free! From May 27 through June 14, these kits will be an introductory price of $ 60 (regular retail $ 70).
Kit includes 2 skeins of hand-dyed sock/fingering yarn, most are Dream In Color Yarn Smooshy with Cashmere, but there are a few others in the mix as well. Notions not included: Size US 4 and US 6 needles.
